Nico Marx is a Partner, based in the Amsterdam office.

He has extensive experience in sourcing, executing and managing private equity investments across a range of sectors, geographies and company life cycles.

Prior to EMK, Nico worked at A-Star Education, a global education company headquartered in Singapore. Prior to this, Nico worked at Bregal Capital, alongside Edmund Lazarus. Nico started his career in the financial sponsors team and the special situations group at Citigroup.

Nico’s interests include travel, reading and spending time with his family.
